Damn that's a difficult one, because despite how horrifically over saturated the market is right now there are some real gems In the Isekai genre I think what I'll do is mention what I feel are some hugely underrated ones that have good quality but others have mentioned a ton I watched I love Youjo Senki as well.

. Youjo Senki ( Psychotic adult man who despises god and doesn't believe in him gets re-incarnated as a psychotic anti-communist loli, it's hilarious and terrifying at the same time )

. Twelve Kingdoms ( Unfinished but still a great watch )

. Isekai Nonbiri ( Very chill anime about a guy building up a village, has harem elements but manages to not be cringe about it )

. GATE ( Can't forget this one, it's about the Japenese army invading a fantasy world after being attacked and technologically curb stomping an entire empire which is hilarious but more than that the storytelling is actually good )

You can usually tell truly shit Isekai two episodes in, they often lean heavily on one particular heroine as a crutch and she usually has something going for her like boobage but that's it and the 12 episodes the anime gets usually revolves around that.

Alternatively bad 3D animation is a dead giveaway because it means they were on a low budget and decided to get the cheapest work done possible to the point they don't even render the frames properly which is why it looks so weird a lot of the time. Usually they feature a giant monster or two and about 3 episodes worth of the anime is the MC 'fighting' that, also watching out for the powerpoint presentation anime, just a general PSA for people on how to avoid the truly shit anime out there.
