You could probably give me some random titles for free and just one look at them would bore me out of even launching it which has happened multiple times. Battlebit is the only game this year I'd recommend by other publishers. It seems to be turning out to be a very solid game and if you loved the Battlefield games and hate EA a lot of people have been fed up and even the CoD players are switching over which should tell you something. I love that the big studios finally getting what they deserve and they're steadily putting out updates, doesn't need a sale, it's already reasonably priced.

Another honourable mention is No Man's Sky, it really isn't my thing because it suffers from the same problem most open world games do of once you actually have the audacity to explore the open world you realise there's not that much in it. I mean there is technically content and to their credit they frequently patch the game but it's probably going to take a lot more content patches to fill the empty space they call a game and be worth playing. Someone else will definitely like that game more than me.

I've been having more fun lately making my own games and now I'm almost at the design phase for everything now I've done the researching and coding phase. As far as I'm concerned the draught for RPG/RTS games is very real. I'm so damn glad Battlebit has come out though and it's not a horrific mess, I can de-stress like the old days and absorb myself in a game for a long while.
