Posting as somebody who's been practicing martial arts for almost 20 years now, that group is either shit, or they've got an agenda and are trying to get more women into martial arts to make more money by bullshitting them. Both are not in the best interest of anyone who wants a serious take on martial arts.

Possibly the worse thing I ever saw though was 'women's self-defence seminars' being advertised but that by itself wasn't the terrible part it was the fact that they were only ever going to spar women against other women. The fact is, if you're a woman and you want to learn 'real' self-defence, you've got to have an extremely realistic view of things and that means if you ever have to defend yourself out there you're probably going to be up against a man and he's probably going to be bigger than you.

You train for a worse case scenario if you take self-defence seriously, otherwise you're just fucking playing, I'm so glad I had my coffee before I looked at this shit lol.
