I hated the downvote system and much prefer scored and mostly any other alt-tech site. I made this point awhile back on reddit and there was quite a lot of bi-partisan agreement on that one surprisingly because you see this on reddit and it's just too easy for an organised mob on either side to mass downvote you and get your post hidden.

I don't even like that Odysee does it very much though thankfully they do leave plenty of room for self-moderation on your own channels. All it takes is 3 - 4 retards to get offended by something you post and then they've nuked your comment chain even if everybody else was being really reasonable with each other.

I do agree though that mods are pretty shit generally even without jannies one of my final straws hanging out with certain people was me getting fed up with their behaviour as mods. The biggest piss take with a mod is when you know you haven't done anything remotely bad yet they wake up one morning and decide to berate you over fuck all. Even if they've chatted to you over voice for quite awhile and know you're not a bad person.

God I fucking hate it, I'm ranting I know but what really grates on me hard is forget the jannies these are often people who are supposed to be adults and they act like bratty teenagers at best and their 'socialising' works as a hierarchal based clique environment. Honestly, it's like I always post, it's not the people who look like they're mentally ill that are the problem, it's the lizards wearing skin suits that are the most frustrating to deal with.
