If you search for "ICYMI: Stefanik Stands Up for Victims of New York Crime Crisis".

“And here are some important numbers,” Stefanik added. “In 2022, District Attorney Bragg's first year as DA, New York City saw a 23% surge in major crimes. Is that true?”
.
“That's correct.”
.
DiGiacomo also confirmed that from 2019 to 2022, murders are up 93%, robberies are up 43%, and felony assaults are up 32% when Stefanik asked.
...
Stefanik then asked Jennifer Harrison, Founder of Victims Rights NY, for her message to Alvin Bragg.
.
Ms. Harrison replied by sharing, “I'm a walking example of not ever being whole 18 years after losing a loved one under horrific circumstances and not seeing justice. My life will never ever be complete without Kevin. And knowing the murders are walking and free, spending Christmases and Easters with their family is beyond comprehension. So I hope that he will pay attention to what's happening here today and realize the effect that he's having on survivors of homicide victims for the rest of their lives.”

It goes on and on, but basically the Democrats took a political beating over how their failed policies greatly increased crime and murder - and if you're familiar with this is means mostly (though not exclusively) the number of murdered black people went up.

They need someone else to blame to distract from their own failures. Basically they want to lynch someone.

Reason: Original

They just had a big thing in New York City where the Democrats were grilled for their policies that greatly raised crime and murder. You may not have heard about it because...you know...things that make the democrats looks bad are rarely discussed in either media.

Whatshisface (the homeless guy) was only on the subway because - after pleaing out to several charges - he was given a "stay out of jail program". He then failed to report for the program.

It looks like that's it, that's why he was on the Subway.

The reality is it's the Democrats fault, so they're looking around for someone else to blame for their failures. Their pattern of "where's the nearest white man I can blame for this" continues.

It's the same thing over and over again - the democrats makes things worse for black people, but they always manage to slink out of it by blaming someone else.
