I'm not an expert but I think some of the issue is a lot of Arab families are citizens who have been there since Israel's incorporation. While I'm sure there is a spectrum of support among those families you still have many who consider themselves Israeli. For me, with my lack of knowledge, I tend to think every Arab in Israel considers themselves Palestinian, but that's not the case. I dunno the answer but I don't understand why America aides and antagonize both sides, my guess is to control oil prices.
