If you live in a Blue city, guns are only allowed if you're black.

This is especially true because, for them, an arrest and conviction on a gun related charge is a normal thing. It doesn't ruin their life. 1 in 3 black men has done prison time. So they go to prison for a year. Big deal. For them it's free living. They go to prison and spend most of their time getting high. Blacks are masters at gettin' by. They can adapt to any shitty situation and be content with it. He'd get out of jail and his life would be more or less the same afterwards.

A white, middle class guy with a family, a career, a house, some sort of net worth... he has a LOT to lose by getting arrested and going to jail for 6 to 12 months. He'd lose his job, lose his house and all his money to lawsuits, his wife might divorce him, he'd be convicted as a racist by the media, he'd be surrounded by blacks and fighting for his life, ... his life would be utterly fucking ruined.
