Yes, it is a very high-tier young adult show. absolutely worth it for any kids who are old enough to handle fantasy violence and some dark themes.

A lot of people here are ragging on Legend of Korra, but I thought that show was fine. The villains were written pretty well, and the main character does grow a bunch over the course of the four seasons. As far as work shit goes, its there but it's not as bad as everyone says it is. the key is to understand that Korra is not supposed to be a model hero throughout the earlier parts of the story. She's brash and reckless, and it manifests in a lot of failings that she has to learn from and overcome. The comics are where really gets bad.

My biggest issues with Korra were blatant retcons of the established lore and cannon.
