Pretty sure every white male who's been in the show has been depicted as bad... except the gay couple, of course. The show is 8 episodes deep, by the way.

Also, the show seems to think we're all supposed to be attracted only to black women (or be gay). Joel's wife? Black. Joel's brother's wife? Black. Ellie's female love interest? Black. I don't know of any female love interests who have been non-black. I don't know of any black women who haven't been love interests. Tess was white, but Joel was clearly not interested.
