Given the NFL’s demographics are, uhh, well, a different “racial mix”, but somewhat similar in a sense, I would imagine it to be very, very similar…

I’m sure the reasons for that are “complex”, but probably not all that hard to guess…

Australian sports players (so AFL, NRL, Rugby Union are best comparison) generally just kill themselves with alarming regularity.

But at least we don’t have the “family murder” Chris Benoit types, as much. I guess that’s at least a “positive”…

Edit: I forgot Rowan Baxter. That’s about as close as Australian sport gets to a “Chris Benoit”-style act of evil…
