Absolutely nobody on youtube has been correct because they haven't been allowed to be. It was literally against the rules to be right. On YT - I can't think of anybody who generally knew the truth but also had the balls to work around the rules to direct people to the truth. Vinay Prasad, Dr Been... they all come with their caveats despite being useful informants on certain topics.

Substack, /pol/, occasional twitter posts that didn't get smacked down, ironically govt statistical websites in the wake of vaccine rollout... this is where people had to go. Jonathan Couey aka GigaOhmBiological is generally very good on Twitch or his own site, although I found him late and he's relatively obscure, plus his focus on technical scientific aspects of immunology leads him to label people as misinformation sources when they get those aspects wrong. Still, considering what a surfeit of trust has done to the world, I'm fine with cranking up the distrust for a while. Interestingly, he has always been suspicious of Bret Weinstein and his latest vod contains a clip around the 4:30 mark of Weinstein talking to Sam Harris as the latter compared antivaxx sentiment to islamic jihadism - in 2019. Make of that what you will.
