And why should they be interested in fatherhood? Women can take their kids away (along with at least half their money and most of their property) at the drop of a hat, and by mandate of the state, have first and last say in how they should be raised and treated. Schools are fighting tooth and nail to take full control of kids while leaving parents to pay the bill for both the children AND their indoctrination. And hell, fatherhood isn't even celebrated or honored in modern media. Every dad on TV is portrayed as an idiot who doesn't have any love or respect from his family, his company, or even his community. More often than not, he's outright mocked for even having a family in the first place. If he doesn't stick with them (more often than not because he's forced away from them), he's called a deadbeat, and if he stays with them, he's a loser.
