Most zealots of the left's causes believe they follow some sort of tradition thanks to all the good press given to the riots of the 1960's. This history makes them think when they threaten violence they're being righteous, especially because the worst of their terrorists have been lionized by the left's college faculty contingent. See the history of the SDS and the pipeline from rioter/bomber to faculty chair for a general perspective. Pure deluded narcissism.

Throwing bombs for justice is the way of the radical left and always has been. The civilized response has been to point this out to limited outrage. Nobody really cares. Maybe its about time to meet the left on its own terms and watch them fold like a fucking origami pig. Given that nobody even comes close to challenging antifa on its own terms, the prospect for retaliation-in-kind looks bleak. Most people just want to live their lives quietly.
