I agree with your conclusion but one could argue his political goals were in perfect harmony with Christianity. That's the argument of course he made.

This is ultimately how almost ALL Christians are with regard to their religion. That's why modern Christianity appears to be another form of Leftism not because Christianity is inherently leftist because traditionally it's not, it's because all humans try to shape the religion toward their end. Hitler's argument was that the essence of Christianity better served his political goals than that of the people who shaped Christianity to be more leftist.
