But consider the prevalence of homosexual furry art, as compared to the 1970's & 1980's when furry art was predominantly heterosexual in nature.
I've encountered this observation before. It was before my discovery of the community, really, but looking at old furry art, and the work of older artists who've been active since the 80's , heterosexual art with was still the overwhelming majority of content even through the 90's. It was only in the 2000's that hetero and vanilla content started to really get squeezed into a smaller corner of the community.

Probably. If not 'less degenerate', then certainly 'less fucking obnoxious and in-your-face about it'. I could probably babble on at length about the behavior trends I notice in SJW furfags and those who avoid such subjects like typical 'shy conservatives'.
