It's no secret that foreign countries like China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia donate to American "green" organizations to disrupt and undermine the American energy industry.

The sad/hilarious part is the same people who demanded Bush pay for his imperial ambitions are the same people that just voted to elect the man that is going to put us right back into that bubble.

And why? Because energy is the only reason that the American public can stomach going to a foreign place for. It's the main lynchpin that keeps the Americans solidly under globalization. Without America's foreign dependence on oil, an American disengagement becomes fate.

Of course, the argument that the left will come up with is that "green energy" will make up for the difference, despite the inefficiencies present in green energy and the resulting spike in price as well as deep drop in consistency. Think California brown outs on a national level. We used to call this energy rationing. It'll be given another name now, something that sounds like pop science or BLMish. And it'll be hailed as visionary and revolutionary.

I hope at this point that someone, somewhere in the democrats have a brain. The mandate for the American government rests on the fact that each time we flip a light switch, the lights come on. If and when that changes due to democrat naivety, we are fucked.

If that democrat with a brain exists, he'll probably start importing enough energy products to turn the lights back on. However, the hilarious irony is going to be that the importing of energy resources will be "less green" and cause more pollution due to the foreign extraction and transportation. This will be met with reapproving pats on the back, with everyone nodding and agreeing that at least we aren't fracking anymore.

The saddest part is the most immediate effect on all of us is that it will be more expensive to live again. Higher energy prices means less money for other things. In the ultimate twist of irony, "POC" communities will be hit the hardest as their costs of living skyrocket. The culprit of course will be evil white men killing POC for fun and sport, not the terrible energy policy that'll relic itself in 5 years, of course.

This, coupled with the proposed 15 dollar federal minimum wage, will create the great American hollowing. Some will get richer, most will get poorer, and we'll both dance on the graves of the middle class.
