I actually appreciated the article, it went into the clusterfuck that is Gary's paranoid schizophrenic wife. That bitch pulled Gary's work from Troll Lord Games. Gary put out a ton of good encyclopedias at $30 a book in the 2000's, a few of them go for $800 now. I just got Gary's book of names for under $200.
His ex wife went after his kids, took out Gygax magazine, has been going after rando's in D&D history. She did leave out the part where Gail went after Margaret Weiss in a lawsuit and Margaret had no idea what she was talking about.
Its relevant now because Gail is selling a lot of Gary's memorabilia that most likely belongs to his kids.
It really depends on how much into D&D you are. If you are like me and have been playing since the early 80's or earlier, you appreciate know why Gary's stuff has been held in limbo.
For Kotaku that is a well written article, set at a journalistic standard and not an activist standard, which is rare as fuck from that site.
