Partially because the execs thought there would be a good crossover audience between Horizon and LEGO because an official set of a Tallneck was released a couple of years that sold amazingly well. But also because Hermen Hulst, one of the original co-founders of Guerilla Games, is now working as the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, and is likely trying to push his old company's flagship series as the greatest thing since sliced bread while making his waifu, Alloy, the next big icon in gaming.
