It really depends. I'm no game dev but they're so reliant on pre-made engines these days that I would imagine cross-compiling isn't the challenge it used to be. Mobile is dominated by ARM and Unity shit move between them and PC fairly easily from what I've heard.
Also, the Switch is ARM so people already ask for it. As were the 3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, and N-Gage (lol)
