Got the image block working. Really simple, actually!

Took me a bit, but finally figured it out.

brave://settings/shields/filters (or something similar in Chrome/Firefox, look it up), and then just add a custom filter, for example:

*.gorecenter.*

Asterisks are wildcards, so that will work on www.X, http://X, https://X, etc., and will block .com, .org, .whatever. Probably a bit overkill, but unless you frequent sites that include "gorecenter" or "incels" or whatever, it works.
