In reality, most of our “divided” groups have no common culture with each other and cannot peacefully or productively coexist in a democracy. All policy and governance in such countries invariably breaks down into racial/ethnic referendum. Civic nationalism was always a thin mask hiding racial/ethnic tribalism.

Diversity + proximity = war. We are inherently divided and hostile towards each other because all properly evolved cultures seek dominance. The fact that we can point to the elites as the ones who forced this failed multiculturalism upon us doesn’t magically erase those incompatibilities.

If a man lets a wolf into your house, that man isn’t trying to “divide you” from the wolf. The man is using the wolf as a weapon against you. You will need to deal with both the wolf and the man in order to survive. There is no future where you and the wolf team up to kill your “true enemy”. If you kill the man first, you are still left with the wolf. And in most cases, the wolf represents the greater immediate threat.
