Dragon Age isn't even 20 years old. I won't say you're wrong, though. Every issue this trailer had was present since Dragon Age 2, including the Marvel-esque presentation, the gaudy art style, the overt gayness in everything, and the general ugliness in the characters (especially the women). I'm actually surprised the new game is being met with near-universal vitriol; it's like everyone has suddenly woken up and is seeing Dragon Age the way I've been seeing it ever since the first previews for DA2 were released.

And yeah, Origins honestly wasn't too far removed from the rest stylistically. A lot of the characters and dialogue had a proto-MCU feel where there was a tad too much goofiness and quipping going around. The writers even admitted to taking inspiration from Whedon shows with a lot of them.
