They are more accessible but the setup process somehow still manages to be dogshit depending on what distro you pick. For me it's either ultra basic Linux distro that works fine out of the box for very basic stuff then breaks if you attempt to do anything with it or a 'gaming' distro that breaks in the install process and fucks everything up. I hope this whole spying situation lights a fire under the autists and maybe gets some proper corpo backing for a real normie distro people can finally use.

I want to make the switch but I simply don't have the time right now with my projects to troubleshoot crap constantly :( If Microsoft increase their spying behaviour I could see even the money people potentially losing their temper with Microsoft and bankrolling some autists to make something that's actually good.
