They were going to do DLC, but they changed their mind. I doubt they're working on it any more at all.

Wide distribution of half-done games is a cancer. That's not the same as beta testing which is done with complete versions of the game that may be riddled with bugs For one thing, beta testing ruins it for a small number of people, many of whom are your dedicated fans and like it anyways. You don't make them pay (for the beta at least). Widespread release of BG3 had most players playing a crappy version of act 1. To the point where it's hard to understand some repeated criticisms as they've been edited out of the game. Peopel are angry about stuff that a non-tester doesn't even have any context on.

Why we have to kickstart this no name developer of DoS2? (who has taken up with fucking Hasbro and fucking Wizards of the Coast, no less).. Y no fund own game.
