There's a difference between 'socially controlling sexual desires' and 'repressing natural sexual urges', the trick is one just requires you to ensure you get tasks you set out for yourself done and not wasting time with urges.

The other is repressing natural desires as you've seen the degenerate excess on display and believe any action that leads to self pleasure will end in the same result.

We've all seen this argument play out with drugs and porn. Two points manifest in both cases:

  1. A percentage of individuals are capable of using the substance and living economically functional lives (your point)

  2. Society and culture at large can't handle the substance, which corrodes its foundations a little more every year (the opposing point)

Porn goes hand in hand with hookup culture. If you have one, then you basically have to have the other. They're products of the sexual revolution and they're enabling an apocalyptic death of male-female relationships that is dooming us to who knows what. I'm not leaving feminism out, either. I would go so far as to say that "sexual freedom" makes the rise of feminism inevitable. There's a reason why Jews fostered both of those things.

The advent of advanced AI porn will hopefully destroy the thot industry, which would be fantastic. But at the same time, if 13-year old me had the ability to generate a personal sexual fantasy of whatever I wanted, including girls from my real life, upgrading their rack too - and that tech will be here - I don't know if I would've ever had much of an interest in reality.

Now the natural objection is "so you want to ban porn." I don't know what the solution is. But we will have to confront the problem at some point because the Japanese extinction spiral is real, and as the last decade proved, it can happen faster than anyone would have predicted.
