you're defending both its inclusion

I am not at all. I'm saying Ableist went about it in the wrong way.

If he wanted to succeed, he would have gone to talk immediately after his edit was reverted the first time. It would have maintained a civil tone and tried to cast Dartagnan and Ophiuchus as being just as political as they're accusing him of being.

Then, once Newer and Maul came into the picture, he should have appealed to them that the page should be removed ENTIRELY because there's no point for culture war bullshit to even be on 1d6 anymore now that we have the ability to suppress edit trolls. And then when they think that's excessive, you back down from the big sell and pitch a minimal edit.

That, is how you win.

But I'm not going to bat for either of you because you've already turned the moderates against you with your bull-in-china-shop antics. You two hate moderates? Fine. Good luck winning without them.

I can see from your comment activity that, compared to me, you're new. So I'll forgive your attacks as ignorance.

Because if you knew my opinions, even you would be like "jesus fuck man, wtf is wrong with you". But I KNOW THAT so I am more circumspect.
