Anyone else think Stewart is pretty much irrelevant unless you're the 30% of the country that's a soft centrist uniparty lib?
The hardcore left and right already have their online spheres and have pretty much written off everyone else. The rest of the right is on the Trump Train, and I don't count Romney Republicans as conservative or right-leaning anyway. In the 00s Jon touched the wavelength of a large segment of the country, but now most people aren't inclined to give him the time of day.
Also, Stewart had a monopoly on his genre of broadcast media. In the current landscape he's just one voice among hundreds.
