Thanks for this link. I occasionally circle through the latest posts from anti-establishment/anti-corruption types in Japan but hadn't heard of this guy. Regarding the first question - not sure about this particular scandal - but it's not because nobody bothered to investigate these things before him. Other investigators in Japan have found that if you dig too deep into corruption the police will arrest YOU and charge you with defamation among other crimes. The media will call you a conspiracy theorist. People have tried and gotten burned. They know not to rock the boat. There's a wide net of power protecting the establishment there, and I'm not convinced China isn't already pulling the strings. We more clearly see the influences of the globalists, ESG, foreign agents like Rahm, but weakening the nation will obviously help China as well.
One thing for sure if a based leader ever takes control in Japan they need to ban NGOs. Completely unaccountable.
