For one thing, the study was retarded from the get go, and included people up to, I believe, 20. Might have been 19, but I think it was 20. So it was children, teenagers, and adults. "Young people" got turned into "children" for the sake of a stilted argument because it sounds better and was more emotionally manipulative. Needless to say, the vast, vast majority of gun deaths were on the older end of the scale.

"Guns" (violence with guns being more accurate) are the leading cause of death among black gangbangers, but you won't hear the disarmament side talking about that, will you? Anyway, that massively skews the results, and makes it sound like children are being murdered every day when they go to school.

Next, children don't die a whole lot, compared to older (or younger, for that matter; toddlers and babies are more at risk than school-age children), so if you're manipulating the numbers it's a really easy job to make it look like 150% of child deaths are caused by guns, or whatever. Also, around 15+ years is where the male and female death rate really diverges, with males comparatively jumping up through the roof. That's at least in part due to violence, and shows that those under 15 aren't going around killing each other at high rates. If you had toddler gangs, the numbers would show it.

Anyway, I said I wouldn't get into it too much, but I hate screwy, manipulative math. What I really wanted to get into though, is those shitty commies and their evil mindset.
