gantz, claymore, berserk, hellsing, elfenlied, parasyte, dororo, knights of sidonia there are plenty of brutal animes. But usually these are with teens. From what I have seen made in abyss the characters look like 6-12 years old and they die very horribly. Never watched that tho.
