In a sense, the whites float on top of African politics. They are off with the land, whereas I assume the democratic politics focus on the cities and the villages. Land redistribution (ie commie nigs stealing from whites) was supposed to happen, but it's been slow since it's a bad idea. But then the whites are on their own. Ofc it's not like Zimbabwe's government does much for people at the best of times. The whites get farm-murdered, but the real political conflict isn't with the whites any more. Their more recent conflicts have been between different black groups. So even if Mugabe wanted to be off abusing the whites, he has to focus on his own ass not getting murdered.
