Nah.
Here's what I predict. Take a kaiju movie that you could probably tell in two hours. It has the typical hallmarks: humans sense disturbances going on with kaiju activity, struggle to understand what it is the kaiju are doing (or what the kaiju even are), and struggle even more to survive once the kaiju finally start doing kaiju stuff (destroying cities, fighting other kaiju, etc.). And of course, the kaiju stuff that we all want to see that will only take up about 10-20 minutes of screentime. Now stretch that out to at least 8 hours, pad the runtime by spreading all the human characters across different factions that are opposed to one another, if not at outright war, have them constantly plot and scheme against their enemies, allies and even people within their own factions to create INTREEG! in a story about gigantic monsters, throw in some illicit sexual affairs and token romances that don't need to be there, and still keep the kaiju action to 10-20 minutes of screentime across the entire season. Maybe even less, and with much worse visuals because they won't have the budget or talent to make the spectacle of a big screen production. That's what this series is going to be because that's practically what all TV serials are now. And that's assuming there won't be any ESG-farming content into account.
And this is from someone who likes Legendary's MonsterVerse.
