When you import a demographic whose worldview dictates that you submit to their version of God, and no other, and their explicitly layed out plan for that submission is jihad, what other outcome could there be? Allowing the open wound to fester won't allow it to heal over time. It'll just keep getting worse and more septic until amputation is the only solution. Or death.

Mass arrests and deportations now is the less violent solution. Things will only get messier the longer they do nothing.

Multiculturalism is a failed project. It was always going to fail. Without a strong, vital overculture to unite the disparate, fractious groups together, it doesn't work. And a weak western overculture that pathologically puts their own interests last and minoritarian interests first just doesn't cut it.

Unless a fractured culture is the plan, and a rising jihadi tide is intended as a justification to completely obliterate any and all remaining personal freedoms in the name of safety and stability. Security needs to be removed before it can be used as an excuse for totalitarianism, I guess.
