The funniest part is he didn't even give money to Stormy Daniels directly. He's being charged for each time he...paid his lawyer. With the claim that those payments were then going on to Stormy Daniels. Even though he paid his lawyer more than what his lawyer paid Daniels. The charges make no fucking sense, but it doesn't matter, since Orange Man Bad.
Also, I think even the initial claim that that was campaign finance or whatever is nonsense.
What is the angle here, is he trying to turn a misdemeanor that was prescribed to something much bigger?
100%. They took an initial non-crime, or at worst misdemeanor (whose statute of limitations would have expired), and turned it into a felony. Despite Hillary doing much worse, and Obama getting a slap on the wrist for his financial shenanigans.
