You know what’s really fucked up? Something like 90% of abortions occur in the first 12 weeks. So if you don’t implement a total ban, the vast majority of abortions will be unaffected by any lesser restriction. So republicans squandered all of their political capital to prevent 10% of abortions in some states. Yippee.
