The 2001 era version of DNF, when the trailer was released, was probably the most hyped about a game I've ever been. It looked so amazing for the time that I and a lot of other people suspected it was just scripted. Only when it was leaked earlier this year did we find out that it was real. Such a fuckin shame. Even watching it now, the game world looks more alive, weighty and dynamic than today's games.
