Men only started caring about height when our degenerate culture started pretending women's opinions mattered.

Boys are indoctrinated by their mothers and female relatives and as soon as their innocent eyes wander over a screen; the only thing that determines the worth of their life is womens' opinion of them. And since women don't see any man below the top 10%, mostly determined by height, as human that negatively effects the mental state of shorter men.

So of course short men seek any magic bullet because very few of them have the support system necessary to break the cultural conditioning.
