Even guys like Johnny Depp who are able to vindicate themselves legally. The only reason that they're talking about this at all is because some are able to bounce back and since they can't prevent it they want to extract a struggle session as a consolation prize.

They want to set the example that they are the arbiters of justice, and nobody else. If the law doesn't go their way, it's a miscarriage of justice, not the right thing.
