I'll never understand why companies in certain industries don't band together when governments do shit like this. If the top auto manufacturers had told California that they would stop selling cars there if they ban gas powered vehicles, the law would not have passed.

It's painful to forgo sales from a large market, but if the alternative to the up front pain is slowly having your industry destroyed, why don't they fight back?
