Fair enough, I guess we have to start somewhere, but to me proper punishment would be nationalizing or breaking up big tech, eliminating intellectual "property", and seizing the means of production. Pass laws that penalize companies for any cancel culture bullshit from the last 20 years, then when judges rule it an unconstitutional ex post facto violation, remove those judges from office by force.
