It doesn't matter who is in the majority among our peers anyway. Peasants don't matter. It only matters what is believed by those in positions of power: academia, media, technology, finance, military, and the entrenched bureaucracy.
I get the same vibes from conservatives shouting "WE'RE THE SILENT MAJORITY!" With most of these crazy social justice topics it's probably true, but it's always odd to me how confident you are from only personal experience. It strikes me as more of a self morale boost than a statement of fact.
