i havent kept up with modern anime has it gotten so bad? Japan has an advantage of reputation and are usually more creative and better writers, but if they throw that advantage away , donghua may take over and force them in to competition. Also interestingly enough Kdramas (korean dramas) apparently has gotten bad recently too from what i heard from people who watch it (like apparently now its women always being breadwinner and men always being dumb in modern Kdramas. )
