Sins will be covered by the blood of Christ, or paid for in eternal hell. This world right now is under judgment, that's why death exists in the first place, it's an absolute miracle God made a way out with Christ as all.

It's all freaking real, and while I'm secure in Christ, I'm terrified for other people. Most don't think they are bad people (in comparison of murders, etc..) and surely God wouldn't punish them in this way because they haven't read the first few chapters of Romans (even explains how the LGBT/transgender stuff is judgment), they don't understand their situation or who we are in comparison to a Holy God, how we messed this all up and our sins have caused Jesus Christ to be murdered and the entire Creation itself to fall into death and decay.

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death— the lake of fire. And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
