In almost every country in the entire world, women have longer life expectancy than men.
If women being less numbered than men for the first time ever is a "femicide crisis", then we've had a "menicide" crisis for the past thousand years, since men were always less numbered before. Yet no one ever really cares about that, right?
Unless the murders gets to #1 death cause, it's likely not a cause at all as to why there are less females than before anyway. Natural causes / sickness are still the top cases for deaths, nothing we can really do about that except wait for better medicine tech.

"In the US a woman is murdered by a man, usually, an intimate partner, every six hours."
That's about 1460 women per year. There are 3 millions death per year in the US (so 1.5 million women). Saying those 1460 deaths per year is enough to justify a "femicide crisis" is just plain stupid. Imagine you have a million dollars, then claim you're "basically a homeless" because you lost a thousand. You have to put numbers in perspective.
