I just didn't find them attractive. I dunno how to explain it. It's like when you jerk off and end up feeling that porn regret afterward but 100x as strong cause it was an actual person and not porn. I've done it not once but multiple times and the feeling was always the same.

I'd say it's like the guilt of trying to fake an attraction that just isn't there. It feels dirty, not right and overall "degrading" to myself. I don't really think it's a pride thing but more of like a spiritual cleanliness that I've dirtied. I'd rather just be single than with an ugly woman because I know I could never truly love her.

And yes, it is very much as you say. Less attractive women aren't humble or appreciative that a better looking man is with them. They act entitled which means you're not actually upgrading personalities at all and generally speaking in my experience personality and attractiveness correlate together up to a point (before it's a hard drop off). That's because people who are mentally sound do in fact put effort into their look so generally speaking, uglier women actually simply have worse personalities too.

I've tried it all when it comes to being with women. Physical attractiveness matters but so too does personality. Some leeway can be made here or there but generally speaking if they have such a stellar personality they wouldn't be physically unattractive unless it was a defect they couldn't help but that's extremely rare.
