Well, I wouldnt fault really them not liking USA much, or rest of western world ...if you remember that USA essentially invaded them only about decade after USSR had collapsed with their invaded government ruling there, and USSR had invaded them about 80 years after British government evaporated from there ...eg, Afghanistan had about less than decade of sovereignty between two latter invasion forces
