I remember looking at a thread about adding a code of conduct into an open source project. So many post by people who were part of the community and wanted it. The fact that almost all of them were by new accounts with 1 post isn't important. The fact that even the supporting accounts that weren't new had near no contribution to open source that wasn't word changes also wasn't important. They outweigh those who don't want politics and merely contribute code. That's what's important.
