I've heard others mention this idea as well, and thought of it myself. I just don't think it's true.

What's happening to us has happened to past people's as well, to varying degree. It's a predictable consequence of a combination of factors and forces. Strong communities and societies inhibit the growth of cancerous (self destructive) ideologies, philosophies, and practices, across all areas and in every scale, and inhibit the infestation of parasites who would use, manipulate, and pervert the system and the people for their own ends, at the expense of the people, usually by pushing these cancerous things.

It seems much more likely that the things being done to us are just to make us weaker and easier control. Mass manipulation of genetics is just an unintended consequence of some of their actions. As an example, if the evil string pullers' intention was mass eugenics, then they wouldn't implement mass dysgenics programs like welfare, which takes resources from the most intelligent/productive (meaning they have less kids), and give them to the least intelligent/productive (meaning they have more kids). Also, note that the string pullers aren't altruistic, which is what they'd have to be if they were mass manipulating our genetics for our benefit. Lastly, if they are doing it, but are so stupid that they're doing it this badly, it also precludes that they've thoroughly planned this all out (because they're stupid). There are too many contradictions to make it seem plausible that they're doing all this for eugenics purposes.

Don't ever forget the string pullers are evil, which is continually proven with everything they say and do. They're evil because they've abandoned truth to pursue their own power. Because of this, the fruits of the labor always inevitably spoil, which explains all the unintended consequences of their evil pursuits. The people at the top may be smart to have attained this much power, but they're not wise, because if they were they'd realize what they're doing is ultimately always self destructive, and that every individual, community, and society that is ruled by them, and follows their philosophies destroys itself.
