"Turn off your brain and enjoy it" is such a dumb concept.

It'd make a lot more sense if animated films were willing to be just as silly, dumb, and schlocky as live-action films. But since they all want to be the deepest and most emotionally-wrought thing imaginable, even though all they do is spout the same tired platitudes of "love," "peace" and "family" ad nauseum, they don't get that benefit from me.
