I don't think the democrats will have a reliable republican target after Trump. They could come out and say Trump caused an insurrection and everyone eat that shit up because of a visceral emotional hatred for the guy. They have not been able to do that as successfully and reliably to others.

Mcconnell is a simp turtle man that is masterful at retaining power and wielding it in an increasingly toxic environment. What he is not, is a dangerous man. Despite rabid democrat partisan hate for him, that hate doesn't translate to the normie pop that well.

AOC tried that shit on Ted Cruz, which I think was hilarious. The response from normies was pretty hilarious, in that no one believes her. As great as her tits generate political capital amongst sex starved millennials, they weren't able to save her from the normie onslaught of incredulity.

The rest of the cast and crew of Republicans are so uninspiring that the allegation of trying to create a country-wide insurrection would be hilariously stupid for democrats to make.
